So I already have had my hemrriods stapled in April and I still some externals..so I am just getting them off. I know how painful the first surgery was but I am freaking out about this one, I have heard assume horrible things. Any would be great. I know ask the basics, soaking in warm water, errors, stool softners, but starting in a liquid diet few days before and a week after. But anything other advice would be great

Good luck with you op, must say be prepared for the pain for a couple of weeks, least you know what your in for, you are doing all the right thing, I used dulcalax liquid it works really well to keep bm soft/liquid, just don't get constipated or strain. Hope it all goes well. I had mine done in September, was in pain for at least 5 weeks and still have a little problem now but mine were quiet serve grade 4 but seem to be getting there now, I think I might have a bit of restriction but I see my consultant next week. Keep us updated on how thing go.
I would just like to let you know that there is a post relief product called a 2lip cup. I use it with a re-useable bottle that comes with it and add warm water and a bit of epson salts after every bowel movement to wash away any feces so it doesn't smear and cause further burning or irritation. Also, after doing this, I notice that there is nothing on the tissue after blotting it softly. I am prepared at all times. I keep a 2lip package in my purse with the water/epson salts and I have one at home next to the toilet. If during the day, I feel sore or irritated, I just hold it with filled with the warm water on my area for a few minutes. I don't need to have a bath or sitz bath. To me, this works the same and is way more convenient. I hope you try it out and get the same relief that I do. I could not honestly live without this.
I'm glad you're doing a little better I hope everything's okay. I just hope my doctor gave me some strong meds for after because I want you gave me last time didn't work very good.
