I have been faithful to my partner of 10 years. we have had unprotected sex over 500 times. after a night where my partner went out without me and did not come home until the morning i immediately stopped all sexual activity and insisted on STD testing. months later it was finally done and my partner tested positive for HSV 2 Igg, and i tested negative for HSV 2 Igg.
what are the chances, or is it even possible I have never been exposed to my partners shedding and not made antibodies to HSV 2 in 10 years? i come from a large family and 2 of my siblings had genital herpes outbreaks almost immediately after 1st time exposure, so I am not counting on some genetic force field to protect me.
