Had my 12 month review yesterday. I decided to park in the Oxford Park and Ride and cycle through the town to the hospital. The sun was shining, Oxford was beautiful. The traffic was a bit scary but they are super used to bikes in Oxford.
Surgeon happy with me but still wants to see me in a further 12 months. Though I have no recurrence of the infection and the risk of reccurrence goes down exponentially over time he will check me over just to make sure.
I'm very happy with the outcome of my revision.

Well done, Michael. I had my 6 week check yesterday and I don't have to go back at all unless I develop any problems which the surgeon feels is highly unlikely. Also, very pleased with the outcome of my operation and recovery. Very happy for you.
