Hi guys, I am 25 years old and I have been suffering with severe menstrual cramps from the age of 12, when I first got my period. The pain usually occurs on the first two days of my period. For that entire period I suffer from intense pain in my lower abdomen and lower back, nausea, vomiting, fever, headaches and fainting spells. I have been in and out of doctor's offices for the past 13 years and have had all types of scans, scopes and tests done and, while doctors agree that what I experience is not normal, no one can find the cause. Endometriosis, uterine fibroids and pelvic inflammatory disease have all been ruled out. Is there anything else could explain what I experience? I can't remember a time when I didn't have to take time off of school and now work because of my period. I would appreciate any advice I can get. Thank you! Andi
Have you tried naproxen or mefenamic acid? If you have and they are no help, how about the mini pill?
