14 Week Setback

At almost 14 weeks, I was beginning to feel out of the woods.  I haven't been walking much because of the weather but I've been doing PT 2 to 3 times a week and doing my normal activities.  I still run out of steam but it's getting better.  But his week my leg muscles have felt like they did weeks ago.  I complained to the physio and she did some additional stretches on me.  I feel like it aggravated things.  Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, deinitely. Gentle walking is safer than anything else. Try to get back in the habit of walking now that Storm Desmond has gone.

Once after a physio session I was badly bruised, but I bruise easily these days.

I still have days and nights when I'm in pain- and I'm 12 weeks post op. The pain did increase with more walking and PT- hopefully it's the good pain.

Hi Riley,

Ys, I do too - I am 12  weeks post-op from 2nd THR and doing good -  however, yesterday, for some odd reason, I could't put weight on my new hip !!! some strange (familiar?) gnawing pain as well - this morning I am okay again ---thinking back, I did go into a store without cane and walked around for a while; maybe I am not ready for that yet - I don;t know ... it is discouraging, isn;t it ....

Body is telling me to stillbe mindful when walking  -

It sounds like you should try a bit less, not a bit more,

it is worth trying.

is this hip number 1?
