15mg Mirtazapine Cold Turkey help :(

That is fantastic! Really happy for you! Don't get discouraged with some bouts of anxiety or deppression here and there, people report that it may happen but good periods will be longer ang longer!

And life is difficult often, it's ok to feel upset, down or anxious. A book on Mindfulness has helped me a lot (I'm on a therapy too). It's about inhibiting negative emotions, looking at them not from them. Not trying to push them away. Trying is a word that is bad in every aspect in Mindfulness. We don't try as trying only adds effort to the experience, we accept and stay with the primary emotion trough breath. I know it's easy to say but I quite like the idea of having the solution with me all the time or even within me Practise is the key. Tons of books out there, with cds and downloads on websites.

Thanks I will definitely check it out!

I think that's it, the feelings are inconsistent and in turn that makes me anxious. When I am feeling good I can't imagine what I would be anxious about. Thanks for all your help

Im on the same thing and have had it! I want to feel like myself and just get off. in going to give it a try and hope all goes well.

I went coldturkey also one time 3 years ago and it was hell. i had to go back on the meds.

you could take a lower dose of it like 7.5mg to help you out, it might ease your symptoms and when you stabilize then cut it only 5% or 10% and hold it for a month or two then cut again. as long as you have no withdrawal symptoms.

i have been on 15mg for 7 years and I am tapering this time very slowly and so far I have little withdrawal symptoms. You need to think about your brain and how hard it is working to cope without this pill you took daily - it is basically going to take a while to heal but you will if you can manage the withdrawals. if you can’t, it’s okay to take a little bit of the pill until you feel okay enough to cut some of it off.

I hope you feel better.
