i retuned to work after 14 weeks off, with everything feeling ok, still had a stitch that wouldn't dissolve but on the whole feeling ok, now after 2 weeks back at work I have started to feel sore underneath, it's a throbbing feeling. it doesn't feel like my prolaspe has come back but I'm worried that things have gone wrong, I feel uncomfortable when sitting and after wiping after going to the loo. I had another infection 2 weeks ago and have only just finished that course of tablets. Has anyone else expericaned this, I'm now starting to feel quite upset about it all, as I have tried so hard to follow the rules re lifting and resting.
Hi kay I went bk to work 11 weeks after my op been bk now 3 full weeks now and my God I feel battered when I get home, it's the feeling of my body needs rest , I'm considering handing my notice in cos I'm struggling , I don't think my work place will be happy if I went on sick , I don't think after this operation we r able to go bk to normal
Hi Joan, yes I know what you mean about feeling battered when you get home I have been feeling the same, but up until Friday I was in myself feeling ok, I've just tried to have a look to see if everything looked ok, if you know what I mean and I think I have a bit of an irratation there, which could be the case as stupidly I wore a pair of trouser on Wednesday that turned out to be a bit tight as I have put some weight on do I'm kind of thinking that they may have rubbed me a bit underneath and caused a little sore patch.
Wear something loose for a week or 2 see if it helps if not then see ur GP, Iv gained 11/2 st since aving the op , so leggings r my best friend at the moment ,it's so easy when we literally av got to do nothing , in my case I ate and watched daytime tv,
Hi ladies what sort of Job do you do if you don't mind me asking x
Hi debra I work in school kitchens and always loved my job
I'm office & reception work of an afternoon, but combining 2 rolls meant a lots of walking up and down stairs and around factory floor for paperwork, but luckly no heavy lifting as I am able to get one of the lads to do any lifting that needs doing.
Ok I had my opp done 22nd Dec I work in a cafe in a company 7-30- 2 ..
I do 12-5 Monday to Friday, but once home could quite happily have gone to bed each night by 7 as I have felt so shattered
I had an anterior repair done nearly seven weeks ago. First five weeks were not great with discomfort like a burning, nappy rash sensation around my lady bits. Hospital said due to swelling and body repairing itself. I feel more like my old self now so have been taking back some of the household chores from my husband except for the hoovering. Am due to go back to school after half term, I am an Art technician and work in the technology department too. They are planning to ease me back in as they know I will be tired.
