Is it normal to have ZERO appetite & wake with pounding heartbeat & shaky? Appetite will come back in dvening & I eat as much as I can. Feel almost normal again in the evenings but then afraid to go to bed knowing that it’s a cycle that will continue again in the morning. Was only on 20 mg (for about 13 years though). then weaned myself off within a month or so then went to dr who gave me 10 mg to wean more. Off completely now a little over 2 weeks. Anyone have the same experience & how long will this last before I’m back to my normal self? This is awful. I need to hear something good here. I do not want to go back on if I don’t have to.
Also wanted to mention that doc gave me Xanax to help me thru these horrible side effects. Primary care doc-haven’t been able to get into a psychiatrist in my area. None are taking new patients.
