18 hours after having 2 haemorroids banded I cajt believe how painful it is. i only managed 2.5 hours sleep overnight. overnight i have also had 2 conversations with NHS 111 and a trip to hospital for Co-Codamol because of the pain. also had 3 salt baths overnight to help with discomfort. if i knew it would be this bad,.i wouldn't of has it done. 111 have booked me a phone appointment with my GP for today. Bulk up on fiber and veggies diet and pain will pass… Definately will pass and you will feel much much better. Salt baths will help A ton just make sure the water is warm but not too hot. hope you have a recovery soon.
thanks for the reply. Doctor has also changed pain meds to Dihydrocodine and also got some Lactulose to counteract any constipation caused by meds. Just never had pain and discomfort like it. All the doctors i have spoken to are surprised the surgery place gave me to after care information.
It will pass. Drunk alot of water. Do not constipate and do not strain.
