About 3 days ago my vagina suddenly began itching overnight. I had done multiple things prior to this, working out, kayaking, shaved, sex all within 24 hour period, so I don't know the cause. I had cleaned off using baking soda when the irritation began. Shortly after I had to rinse a second time due to intense itching. Then I noticed more itching and unknown discomfort the next day. Then intense itching and discomfort. There has been no abnormal smell or discharge. No pain unless I irritate the area with friction. For the most part, the issue is there are just **some closed bumps/ swelling. I would describe the bumps/swelling as irregular shaped and round. It is hard to the touch compared to surrounding skin. Itching intensely and does not seem to be going away over the last 24-48 hrs. The bumps/swelling are located on just the Labia Major. **
Please help. ANY advise is welcome I am trying to book a gyno in the next 24/48hrs, but I am new to the area and not many docs are seeing new patients where I live.
What colour is your discharge?
It looks like your skin is very irritated - I would recommend booking in to see a doctor / gynea / gum clinic as soon as you can for peace of mind but in the meantime use a cool compress or ice pack to help cool the area and help with itching, you could also try a very neutral moisturiser in the area like aqueous cream which you can use in the shower as a wash too which may help to sooth your skin in the meantime.
