2 weeks and still feeling sick!!

I went back on citalopram 2 weeks ago after reducing to 5mg every third day. I now take 10mg a day. I still feel sick after 2 weeks is this right?

I felt ok at the weekend, but now it's back. Also have a painful stomach and bad acid reflux.

Is it the citalopram?

Yes it's the Citalopram.  It makes me sick when I've increased the dose or started them.  Even if I miss a dose I begin to feel nauseous.  It should wear off in time.

 The way I understand it from my GP you need to take the citalopram everyday regardless of dose amount. YOu have only been on it two weeks, if your stomach cramps and bad acid reflux  continue alert your GP or psychiatrist, whom ever prescirbed this. Also, you might try not eating spicy or deep fried foods with the citalopram and see if this helps.

Thanks, I'm sure I didn't feel this bad when I first started that's why I was worried.
