24 days post op

Hi every one I am now just over 3 week post op and have had some really down days but my progress is really good an downt to using just a walking stick now and can walk unaided indoors my physiotherapist is reall pleased with me hope this continues

I have found this group so helpful and the people so friendly here's to all our recoveries x

So well done! Hope I'll be filling you by next week!!!

I am 10 days post op doing ok on 1 crutch indoors

Moving around the house but must say i am forgetting to do the exercises regularly is ths ok ??

Or not

So positive - I can only echo your comments on how helpful this forum is.

I'm now 19 days post-op, so just behind you.  Have taken a few faltering steps without sticks when indoors, but yesterday had a 'bad day', so went back to 2 sticks.

Managed a one-mile walk around town today (2 sticks for safety), I felt so good about that, so a much better day.

Best regards to everyone

Graham

a Regards Ann

You sound to be doing good I have had some bad days and I suppose I will have more butbwecwill all get there I hope

Regards Ann

dear ann,

I am happy for you  that you are doing so well - does your physical therapist come to your home?

It is a roller coaster ride, sweetheart - physically and emotionally -

try to go with it as much as possible - this forum has been my life saver for 7 months already - especially when you live alone and need someone who understands what you are going through - and always there is someone who responds - not just one, but many like minded souls -

that makes us all soul mates !!!!

embracing you all

renee

hi lucite -

you're so cute ... nobody is making you do exercises - it is up to you to do them ... physical therapist in the hospital told me that when i was moaning and bitching ... and she was right -

how are you doing otherwise ?

big warm hug

renee

Hi Renee. Was wondering......... You're messages are always so lovely and cuddly kind and caring!! Are you American??? 😘😘😘

Hi Renee

good to hear from no my physio doesn't come to my I go to the hospital for it

You re right it is a roller coaster been a bit more emotional for me being on my own but this site  and the people are amazing always someone there as you say Soul Mates x

People here are amazing - we have been/are going through the same experiences, and this helps us all to know that someone else has been there, or is experiencing the same things as we are.
