It all started one night about 8 weeks ago. I woke up around 3am and my arm had gone dead (the left) i wiggled it til the blood flowed and went back to sleep. Next noght around same time, my arms dead again. Wiggled it and noticed difficulty moving my arm and felt sharp pain in my L forearm at the wrist end. Thought nothing of it but the pain hradually got worse over a week. Til the weekend came and the pain i felt was incredible, never felt pain so intense. Was crying and sweating and generally begging for help. Rang 111 who thought its maybe work related tendonitis and prescribed Diclofenac. This didnt work, by now after a week the pain was horrendous, i couldnt move my arm hand or fingers. And had to physically lift it using my right arm. Went go a&e where they realised somethings wrong and admitted me to hospital straight away. My arm was hot to touch, very painful to touch and swollen and i felt awful (maliase?) was given IV anti biotics for 4 days in hospital and my pain started to subside and so did the swelling (they raised my arm in a splint at rest) Ortheo surgeon said to go home on oral AB (flucoclaxcillin? Fucidin for the bone) at home i spent 6 weeks resting and now 2 months later i feel great! No pain no swelling and full mobility. So saw ortheo surgeon again and he gave me another x-ray. Can still slightly see some translucent shading on my bone. But now hes referring me to a specialist. Im quite scared as im 99% better but doctor mdntioned we dhould see wat type of infection it is. Still waiting to hear back snd i cant stop worrying 
Anyone here been through the same? Im 6foot slim healthy but i smoke. And i did get a deep cut at work near the start of my problems. Plus i should at my blood tests wherevsky high, now all back to normal except the bone marker one is slightly up ... Also seemed to have tendon damage around site of infection.
