So I started 50mg 12 days ago after being on 25mg for 17 weeks. 25mg helped for a while but my anxiety got bad again. The side effects haven’t been as pronounced this time around but my anxiety is still hanging around.
With a dose increase, how long do you have to wait to feel improvement from the new dose?

Only a few weeks till the new dose settles because the SSRI is already in your system xx hang in there
I just started a new dose too. Haven't really noticed any difference. I have to take ativan tho because the anxiety is still strong. I'm really looking forward to the break thru everyone keeps talking about. I hope everything works out for you!!
Thanks for the replies. I’m guessing it might take 6-8 weeks to feel the full effects of the new dose. It makes me very tired and I do still feel the anxiety. I don’t want to increase again just yet. Might give it a few more weeks. What dose did you up to?
50 mg. I'm only on day 8. The side effects haven't been bad just increased anxiety and feelings of low blood sugar but I'm not sure if that's even a side effect cuz that started a little before I started taking Zoloft. I'm just patiently waiting for it to kick in!

25mg is a really low dose and is unlikely to make much difference, 50mg is what my doctor described as a "starting dose". Your symptoms may well be your anxiety rather than side effects. I gave it about 4 weeks and then raised to 100mg when it started to work after a week or so. I'm now on 150mg and feeling much better.
Yeah, I’m going to stay at 50 for a bit. My de-personalisation is really bad as well at the moment. I feel very flat. It’s strange.
