Do you have other symptoms apart from the tinnitus (hearing loss, fullness of the ears)?

-hearing loss yes.. doctor recommended me surgery..should i do that?
Just give it time. I know at first it seems impossible but I promise there is hope. I have had tinnitus for more than 6 years and hyperacusis for a little over 3 years. I decided many years ago that I would fight. I am in pain to some degree most of the time. Yet, I live my life in faith and God gives me strength. Don't give up. Things will get better if you allow yourself the chance to learn to live with it. Blessings to you.
soemetimes i can fight with it and ignore... but somtimes.. ii really cant.. thanks for ur support
Has the possibility of Meniere's disease been mentioned? What would the surgery be aiming at, based on what diagnosis?

i had mastoidectomy 8 yrs ago.. so doctor proposed to implant artificial mastoideus now..
The tinnitus does not appear to be related to the mastoidectomy as the difference in years is too great.
What do your doctors believe to be the cause of the tinnitus?

they didnt try to find what it causes.. they just said about surgery and that maybe after it tinnitus could leave..
I would not do surgery based on a "maybe". There are too many gaps in their arguement, apparently.

so what should i do?? i went at many of them..last one is the "best" in our country..he said about surgery..one of them before him said i have otosclerosis..then the las t one said no i havent..
In my opinion, you need to clarify all the advantages, disadvantages and reasons for this specific surgery. You do not want the symptoms to get worse.

no of course i dont want..but no one explain that.. only he said hearing may be better and that help tinitus get low... but as u said..all based on "maybe".. thanks for the advices..
