I m 26 years unmarried female, I never had periods. Doctor have said that i have very small uterus, but well developed ovaries. Is there any procedure for having periods and child after marriage???
There are a few explaations for not having periods into your'e twenties. My periods did start in adolescence then stopped totally for several years when I was 25. Eventually I was investigated, and found to have a pituitary tumor which was producing alot of prolactin, which is what some of these tumors do. Producing alot of prolactin fools your'e body into thinking you are pregnant, hence no periods. This can be treated with drugs, which can help to shrink the tumor and to make your'e periods start. Most of these tumors are benign, so if it is that problem there is usually no need to worry.
But you should be getting to more tests to get to the bottom of this.
You are 26 and never had a period. Can't they bring one on by you using birthcontrol pills. You should go to your gyno and talk to him to see if birth control pills will bring on a period.
Doctors told me i had a small uterus and i had my period since i was a teen it started at the age of 13 for me
You need to find out why you have not had a priod if you want to get pregnant talk to your gyno and see what they can do.
Sorry you are going through this at a young age having no periods all your life and now you are 26
I pray that things work out for you Just hang in there
Hi Su.
Do you ovulate?
For what were you tested?
Let me just say that no sane doctor would leave you up to that age with no periods! Your oestrogen, progesterone and FSH sould be tested do that it's know if we're dealing with an hormonal or psysical problem. An ultrasound scan sould also be performed.
So, if you can, go back to the doctor and have these tests. If for some reason you can't my advice is use traditional or complimentary medicine. Vitex is an excelent herbal treatment.
If you don't have any major impairments you should be able to conceive.
I hope this is useful. Take care. T
