2nd DAY OF HOLIDAYS

well ladies another good sleep, i walked 3 miles on sunday, but had to rest as my foot ached a little. Had a lovely meal at night and had a irish coffee, felt ok, and apart from going to the toilet twice during the night(freezing cold in caravan) got up at 6.30.

Eyes still puffy, going to try eating some more asparagus today, as after having some my urine problems have improved, if i can control them by natural ways better than more drugs,

I read that asparagus is good for urinal problems, here's hoping.

Hope you all have a good day

Margaret

You know what margaret, this going on holiday lark seems to be doing you a world of good. You should go on holiday more often!

i read that asparagus is an anti inflammatory food, don't know if that's true. Either way it clearly is doing you some good!

regards christina

Margaret, it's sounding like a big thumbs up for holidays!  And a good night's sleep works its miracles too doesn't it?

Asparagus is a diuretic so perhaps you are finding it helpful because it is simply helping to flush things through.  Garlic, fennel and melon are among other diuretic-type foods.  Go easy on the coffee though - that will get you up a couple of time in the night for the loo, especially if drunk later in the day.  Keep drinking the water -with a little squeezed juice of a lemon.

Enjoy the rest of your holiday.

Put in to stay there - though isn't Seahouses a bit chill at this time of year? The only time I went there was summer and it was cold!

Good to hear your holiday is going well👍

Not sure what your specific urine problem is but I use cranberry, either natural non sweetened (important because the sugar feeds infection) or the capsules. This really worked for my mum who always seemed to have problems until we gave her the caps and she never needed antibiotics again.  My daughter even gave it to one of her dogs.

Staywell and enjoy the rest of your holiday🌸

thank you Christina, yes i have felt better, today o felt a bit nervy dont know why. But fingers crossed no sign of the infection do not want to temp fate tho!

thank you Mrs O, as i said i dont want to tempt fate, but anything is better than drugs all the time.

at the moment Eileen we have had three lovely days, tho the wind is wild, we come here in march and november when they turn on the christmas lights, and we seem to have dry weather, but the scenery and the people are worth the cold weather.

many thanks, i am taking in all of your lovely comments and all you lovely people make me feel as if i am not alone.

Enjoy your holiday :-)
