Well I passed all the pre opp tests with flying colours, so now off to have lunch, they say I'll get my date in 2days time, thanks again to All my fellow hippies

That is great news. I hope when you get your date they stick to it.

I have had so many pre ops waiting for my first hip I felt like I was there lab rat.

This is your 2nd hip replacement? How long was it before the PAIN FINALLY went away after your first???

Hi islandantoinett,

the pain went away the moment I got out of my hospital bed, you will still get the occasional twinge but that's just the new hip settling in, and a bit of stiffness, but compared to the extreme agony before the opp, no worries, hope all goes well for you,
