So I started taking 10mg of citaalopram then doubled to 20mg after the first month I was scarred to start taking them after everything I read said side affect were awful... apart from the occasional dry mouth I never had any side affects, my quality of life has changed dramatically I went from not wanting to talk or do anything sociable to getting back to near normal. On 10mg I felt buzzing but on 20mg the buzz went but just feel normal! I get the odd bad day and the odd tension headache but I would recommend not to read the negatives about side affects everyone is different I should of took these years ago! One thing I would say which I'd be interested to know if anyone else is the same is that within half a hour of taking mine at night time I just totally zonk out and sleep can't keep my eyes open!

I'm glad to hear you are having such great success! I am on week 4 and am finally starting to see my side effects lessen. As far as zonking out, I wish, I've had the opposite experience and had real difficulties with sleep and being very jittery for the past few weeks. I now take mine in the morning
