Hi all! ive been on fluoxetine for about 3 months now for my mood swings due to being pre menopausal, although they are working I’ve noticed I seem to get clammy a lot and have gained a few pounds, I’m just wondering has any body else experienced this…thanks in advance!!!

I have been on fluoxetine (Prozac) for a few weeks. I was on it once before and switched to Lexapro. I wanted to give the Fluxotine another shot.
I do notice I occasionally feel “overheated.” However that can be a lot of things not necessarily the medication. In respect to weight, I found the Prozac caused me to lose weight whereas the Lexapro caused a weight gain. I know everyone is different but just wanted to put that out there.

Hi thanks for the reply maybe it’s all hormonal then, the sweating and weight gain I’ll keep my eye on things and see how it goes.
I should have mentioned I also take Wellbutrin CL 300mg with the Prozac. That could make a difference too
