Hello.. I had my Total Hysterectomy 3 months ago... Felt fantastic mood wise .. Lately im srarting to get the same feeling had pre hysterectomy with hormonal feeling mood swings.. I have tried to go on HRT bit i cant last more than a couple days as it makes my moods crazy... Im just not sure what to do...
Did you have your ovaries removed (oophorectomy)? A total hysterectomy is removal of the uterus and cervix but not the ovaries. If your ovaries were removed HRT usually helps any menopausal symptoms and not make you moody. 2 days isn't really long enough anyway to have any effect.
Hi i had everything removed .. So what your saying is keep it on for longer to see lol
I just put another on tonight because these moods are killing me... I get so annoyed ... Just like before my surgery during my cycles... Will the patch level that out??!!!
I would persevere if you can kim because it will take a week or two for the hormone to get into your bloodstream.

I hate so bad the feeling i used to get pre period times have been on effixor for over 10 years because of those moods... Was beginning to think i could come off it with how awsome I was feeling a few Weeks ago... Then there is the weight.. I put on about 20 pounds in the last 4 years when i started the hot and night sweats.. And i have gotten 5 off since my surgery... And in the last couple of weeks with this crazy mood crap coming back im stuck ...I do an hour of cardio everyday and use my fitbit ... ugh..... Yep im just a mental mess right now lol thanks for listening... 😩
