3 months post op

hi
3 months after dislocating my ankle breaking it in 2 places and breaking my leg , surgery to put in 2 screws and repair tendons . back to work after 9 weeks but still got a lot of numbness on top of my foot is this normal and how long does it last

Hi, almost 6 and a half months after the operation I still get the numbness on top of my foot but not as frequently. I have been told that may last for a year…

HI,
I am 15 weeks post op. I have numbness on the side and bottom of my foot. It comes and goes at random. I have no clue how long it will last, but I wanted to let you know you are not alone. I prefer the numbness to the pain, so I try not to complain about it much. I hope you feel better soon. If the numbness stops let us know. Cause I am just as curious as you.

I have been told that it will last for at least a year…together with swelling coming and going. My ankle seems to swell up every evening.

i am over a year in and all that is still happening to me. Numb, stiff, pain, swelling. I want to remove hardware but scared it wont fix it
