3 months today

So what a journey and a fantastic one to being pain free. From pre op weeks/months/years of pain to post op!!
My muscle is still on the tight side, but its getting better each day. And so is the limp.
I have stretches now from physio, I have gone back to osteopath and thats helping with the muscle, only seeing him once a month though. And still icing it. I can walk up to two miles without sticks but have brought a fold up one so it can go in a packback. I will only use it if I need to.
I have my phase return for mornings only and am now actually looking forward to getting back there.
And thank you to all you lovely people, with all your help and advice and the friendships made.

ready for the next stage in life
take care x

Great news Ann, sounds as though you are doing really well, and as the months go by, you should continue to see an improvement. (Take it easy when you start back at work, I was quite tired.) Onwards and upwards!

I am pleased that you have had your second hip done, I have been following your posts. My next step is bending down properly and walking our pet dog again on my own. So pleased for you too.

Thanks Doodle,
Cannot believe the wobbles that I have had, before, during and after.
But no more pain, I even walked up to work and back again today. No crutches and no pain, go back on Wednesday but phased till half term. But meantime it may be job or redundancy, could be having an extended break or a holiday in September???
Hope you are good, Take care Ann

Thanks Judith
I will only do what I really need to. And my lovely little ones will be picking anything up for me or carrying stuff, I will have them trained!! Its so good not having that awful pain anymore. I feel for everyone either going through it or if it hasn’t quite worked out.
What a difference 3 months had made, even last 3/4 weeks.

yes me too! especially taking my dog out i haven’t walked him for three years so looking forward to the summer days and have some nice walks. its surprising what you miss that we all take for granted!!! you are going in the right direction keep up the good work thanks for your comments and take care BEST WISHES CYNDEY

Helen,
you will get there, give it time. Exercise when you can, it will help its the only part that I wish I had done. Hated games at school and only walked probably not the best walker either. But do what can it make a difference afterwards.

Thank you and you too 
