3 weeks on and feeling good

Just back from seeing our really nice new GP. He gave me a copy of the letter that my Consultant had sent him following my surgery 3 weeks ago. Wow .... reading it has made me realise that it was certainly far more complicated than I had  previously thought. Having seen the letter, I don't know if that is a good thing or not ! The fact that I feel so well makes its difficult for me to believe, that I should really be resting as much as possible ! So pleased  though, that I stuck with the decision to keep with the same highly experienced Consultant surgeon even though he was over 100 miles away.It seems to have paid off. All seems to be good at the moment as have very little discomfort. Follow up appointment not until May 23rd which is a long way off !

Just had my follow up after November op. Healed well - back at work pelvic floor exercises a must. No more caffeine or fizzy drinks tomatoes or oranges or green tea as they cause bladder irritation. Small price to pay!! Good luck

Have you tried High Strength Cranberry Capsules ? I swear by these to prevent or lessen the number of urine infections. I used to suffer a lot, but  not any more since taking these daily ! Best wishes

That is good news. Thanks for the update.

Thats good news. Im 10 days post op and have not had any real pain, just a little discomfort although im really tired all the time x
