spent 1 week in hospital 3 weeks ago, with pyelonephritis, was on iv antibiotics(tazocin). Since leaving hospital still getting pain occasionally in kidneys and lower back. would like to know how long pain lasts
hey, wish i could tell u but im not sure as yet, i spend 2 weeks in the hospital due to the uti pyelonephritis. got out last week. im still having extreme tenderness to the sides/kidneys and pain, dont feel like my normal self yet.

hi jody, sorry to hear your still suffering, seems your feeling the same as myself. still getting pain on and off in the area of pyelonephritis after leaving hospital on the 12th march.doesn't feel like it's the kidney itself, just in the same area. going back to the hospital on wednesday for a follow up appointment, so i'm going to ask the question. will let you know if they say anything informative
hi, i hope it goes well. i had my follow up few days back but that dr was not of much help. just says she dont know my uti are so complex and gave me voltaren for the pain, smh. sometimes i think it depends on the dr u see at the time, my other date with them is the 25th of nxt month, but i do have my gynae appt on tuesday incase i should feel worst i can let them though/
