hi sorry your feeling like this on vacation. yes sounds like peri to me. i have been dealing with peri issues bad the past 2 yrs. looking back i think it started about 5 yrs ago. im 43.
it is still hard for me to accept this is all caused by hormones because i feel so sick. i am not myself anymore anf its depressing. but i think im finally dealing with it a little better now. o have been trying to not let it ruin my life. i now have horrible health anxiety. its prob one of my worst symptoms. i have been to so many specialists and so many ER visits. everything pretty much comes back normal. try and relax on your trip and try and not fight it so much. accepting it helps a lot, acceptance for me goes in waves. i hope you feel better. but what yout feeling is normal
37 would be considered early to have menopause but some women do have it that early. It can come on suddenly - I had been having irregular and heavy periods and some dryness for some years then suddenly one day, completely dry, headaches and hot flushes every couple of ours. My GP said the ovaries are slowing down oestrogen production over some years then suddenly, boom, they just stop. However, with your symptoms, I would go and see a Dr. We shouldn't always just assume it is menopause. It is wise to get checked out just in case it is something else.
When peri hit me 2 years ago I felt like I was hit by a truck. It was fast and horrible. I was so sick I lost 8 lbs. in a matter of days. I thought I had cancer. Get checked out just to be safe. I was 46 at the time.
Hello.
I am 50 but my perimenopausal symptoms started 7 years ago. Just small changes. But... This May severe symptoms seemed to hit overnight. Hot flashes, cold flashes, night sweats, anxiety, panic attacks, crying uncontrollably, insomnia, crushing fatigue, feeling detached from everyone and everything and even from myself.
I have found relief by having acupuncture, herbal supplements and homeopathy for menopause symptoms.
You are very young. But I have read that women are going through "the change" at younger ages than before.
See your doctor when you get home.
I don't know what to suggest you use while you are on holiday. I guess it depends on where you are at.
I hope you feel better soon.
Do you know how odd this is This morning i started my time of the month again
Last month twice
But I do feel better in myself today
Thank goodness I go home tomorrow
I am going to try and see a doctor asap
We us ladies do though too much
And what do men?
My husband is getting more handsome
Oh and so sorry for my baby writing I am Dislexia
It's not fair to start so young I will age fast then everyone else 🙃😭
Hang in there Caroline. Yes, men do not have periods, go through the pain of birth or suffer menopause, but they do not get to experience the wonderful miracle of that new life growing inside them. They are just bystanders in the creation of that new life.
I always feel better during my period. I think it is an uptick in progesterone. Progesterone is the calming hormone.
Thank you everyone xx 😘 I am so pleased I found this site
I know how odd normal it's the other way around
I get sad when I come on lol
