38 and having total hysterectomy in next 8 weeks 😢

So adenomiosis and endometriosis has now taken over and a concern with left ovary. So whipping it all out. Going to need hrt after. Please help with experiences of hrt and if any, holistic alternatives .

Can't help with the hrt .Saw my doctor this week asking if i need to have it as i feel so good and she said i don't need to but we can monitor it over the coming weeks.I am 45 but you will need it because of your age.I can help with the total hysterectomy.I had an abdominal one on April 7th and it all went well and i haven't been in a lot of pain.Are you having an abdominal?If you are please read all my posts and you can ask me any questions you like.

You' re going to need meds after your total hysterectomy Hun, they put a friend of mine on HRT straight away...this surgery puts you into an immediate menopause which is a bit of a shock to the system and needs help. I'm sure you've been through an awful lot already......and the first stage is surgery and recovery which will be such a relief.

I can only tell you I was on HRT for 8 years....( had no surgery, but skipped peri menopause and the real thing was a nightmare ! ) I'm in my 60s now and fine...HRT just got my body used to the idea.....

I had endometriosis in thirties, severe, i was told to have full hyster but asked for it all lasered off instead, they did this and said it may return, it didnt,,, i had about 5 hours laser sugery it was that bad.

'So i would of had an unnecessary hyster'

This was when i was in Uk.

Seems a full hyster is NHS quick option, but i was lucky the lady gyno/ surgeon mentioned laser after my shock of being told hyster.
