Hi, my name is Ebele. had fibroid surgery 8weeks ago. Bleed for 6weeks after the with 3 days heavier which I could not tell if it period, and 8 days after that, I bled again for 3 days. 1 week after, I started what feels more like period and it's been 5 days and not showing signs of stopping. My period before the surgery use to be 7 days. I am worried for having the 3rd bleeding in a month?

I’m going through similar had my UFE surgery back on 7th July 2021 - since op no bleeding until the 14th Sept which lasted to 26th Sept - now today its started again on the 7th October.
i do not know if this is normal or not - i was so hoping for my monthly periods to be normal
& best case senario to never ever have a period again after having one every day for 2 years prior to my operation.
At this point i just want no period again even if it means starting menopause - i mean anything has to be better than having a period every 1-2 weeks.
i may just ring my specialist & see what he says but really dont want a hosp visit again or another poking & proding.
how are you going now - any change.

The uterus is on alert. Give it time to progress into normality. Check after a few months.
