So he first couple weeks, there's definitely more painful. I was also a little bit constipated. during this time my main symptom has been lower abdominal bloating, and my others are fatigue, brain fog, slight lightheadness / dizziness feelings here and there, joint pain. Abnormal stool, mostly where it doesn't seem like food is digested as it was before. Took a stool test for parasites, so far everything was negative in that, had a colonoscopy that came back all clear, nothing at all and was considered very healthy, they took a biopsy to test for celiac, I also had a few blood tests to look for but all the values and the biopsy came back negative. I don't think it's any kind of food allergy cuz I've never been allergic to anything. there's no stones cuz they've done X-rays and three ultrasounds, I have one simple very small cyst in. Overall though everything was considered unremarkable. I've never thrown up, I sometimes pass a little gas but I feel like I've burped more, sometimes that heartburn acidic stomach feel. Again I've not passed stool with blood or throwing up from this.
Just because your not allergic to a food doesnt mean you dont have an intolerance to a food. I’ve never had an allergic reaction to gluten but my body is most definitely intolerant to it. Have you tried a food diary? Dairy seems to bother a lot of people too…and sometimes lots of raw veggies like salads, just really hard to digest. Since all your test came back negative, I’d bet that it’s a food causing your symptoms. Vitamin deficiency could cause problems too. I’d do an elimination diet if I were you. You can research how to properly do this diet. Lots of gluten free options out there too to make it easier. Probiotics would be good too. Hope this helps.
Hi, good advice form 2sweetgirls…could be this , we can develop these sensitives over night it seems. I am not real sure how long this has been going on, just for the 2 weeks.?..also have you made and recent diet changes, like more fiber or any thing different. Fiber is good, but we need to increase it slowly and not all at once. I am also not sure fi you are male or female. I am thinking male but not sure. If you are by chance female you may want to seek out OB/GYN exam as well. Possibly also an endoscope since you feel a bit of an acidy stuff from stomach when burping and check for the usual stuff, h.pylori, etc..You mentioned a small cyst, where is this located?..Since you are also having joint pain/light headedness/dizzy feelings, maybe check with a Rheumotologist to rule out Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome, they kind of go hand in hand. Many folks have both. Have you had any recent surgeries?..I also found this article and may find it helpful as well,
I sent you a reply with a link and it is waiting for moderator to check it, I hope it comes through, mainly I was asking if you were male or female, how long this has been going on, just for the 2 weeks?. also if you had any recent surgeries, what are the foods that are not digested, some foods dont digest well. Also have you made any recent changes to your diet. Here are some of the highlights form the article I found:
Medical conditions that can cause undigested food to appear in the stool include:
Crohn’s disease. This condition is a type of inflammatory bowel disease that causes inflammation in the digestive tract that can lead to severe diarrhea, abdominal pain, and malnutrition.
Celiac disease. This is an autoimmune disorder where the body cannot digest the protein known as gluten that is found in wheat, barley, and certain other grains.
Pancreatic insufficiency. If a person has a pancreatic insufficiency, they lack enzymes in the pancreas, which leads to the inability to break food down.
Lactose intolerance. If a person’s digestive system is unable to break down the protein in milk and dairy, it may indicate lactose intolerance.
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). IBS is a common condition that affects the large intestine and causes bloating, pain, diarrhea, or constipation.
A stomach bug, or gastrointestinal virus, may also cause undigested food in the stool due to food passing quickly through a person’s system. Other symptoms of a stomach bug include:
fever
bloating
abdominal cramping
diarrhea
vomiting
nausea
body aches
malaise, or a general feeling of being unwell
In most cases of a stomach virus, symptoms will resolve in a few days when the virus has passed.
If someone notices the following symptoms plus undigested food in their stool, they should see their doctor:
unexplained weight loss
blood in stool
changes in bowel habits
loss of control of bowels
chronic diarrhea
persistent abdominal pain or cramping
persistent bloating or gas
If a doctor suspects that a person has a digestive system condition, they may order the following diagnostic tests:
a stool sample to look for blood and other abnormalities in the stool
blood tests to look for nutritional deficiencies or inflammation markers
endoscopy to look inside the upper digestive tract
colonoscopy to examine the lower gastrointestinal tract
biopsy to check for microscopic inflammation
Outlook
Most of the time, seeing undigested food in the stool is not a cause for concern. It may be the result of eating too fast or eating food with a high-fiber content.
In situations where a person has other symptoms, including abdominal pain, weight loss, or changes in bowel habits and movements, they may have an underlying medical condition.
Fiber refers to the indigestible part of plant foods.
When a person eats high-fiber foods, it is common for some undigested material to appear in the stool because the body cannot fully break down the tough material.
Fiber also speeds up a person’s bowel movements by adding bulk to the stool, which encourages the intestinal walls to move. This movement pushes food through the digestive tract.
If food moves too quickly through the digestive system, it is more likely that some foods will be less fully digested.
Certain foods are more likely than others to be partially digested and appear in the stool. These foods include:
beans
seeds
corn
peas
vegetable skins
leafy greens
certain grains
carrots
raisins
nuts
Food such as corn is a common offender. Corn has an outer shell made of an indigestible material called cellulose. The body digests the material on the inside of the corn and expels the hard outer casing in the stool.
Eating too quickly
Another harmless culprit of undigested food appearing in stool is eating too quickly. When a person eats too fast and swallows their food without fully chewing it, the food is more likely to pass through the digestive tract without being completely broken down.
Eating too quickly may force digestion to take place too rapidly, which can result in more food not being fully broken down. To avoid this, a person can slow down their eating during meals and chew their food better.
Hope all this helps you !
