Hi would anyone be able to offer advice. I'm back again . I'm four weeks now on Prozac and I feel ok mood wise however my anxiety has been so much worse , it's as though I am back to being a teenager again and all my fears from 12-16 have resurfaced and are very prominent throughout the day . They are irrational fears but very bothersome . My obsessiveness has also gotten worse and I'm wondering is this normal ? I'm obsessed constantly now which I feel has been caused by the tablets . Would anyone know what is going on
Prozac never helped me with anxiety. I always took Xanax for it. Not sure but I believe Prozac may actually cause anxiety.
Why is it prescribed for anxiety then
