Hi all! Been on zoloft a total of 6 weeks. First 2 weeks 50mg and last 4 weeks on 100mg. I do see improvement with my anxiety and havent had a panic attack in 2 weeks. The first 8 days on the 50mg i had some depersonalization but it subsided. Now 4 weeks after upping my dose i had depersonalization again today, randomly. It wasn't horrible but enough to really lower my mood and get me down feeling like im going backwards a few steps instead of forward. Anyone else have this happen? Does it go away?
I have been on sert 50mg for 6 weeks and had depersonalisation all the time it horrible I am due to go up to 100mg next week only had a few hours feeling alright hope it goes away !
To give u some peace of mind mine went away. It lasted like 4 days but now im fine. Been on 100mg for 6 weeks now and im doing fine. I still have my moments but not as bad and very tolerable.
Did by depersonalisation you also mean brain fog (with all of cognitive impairment it conveys)? Welll, lucky you. I have beenl experiencing this issue for 5 months and now for 5 weeks on Sertraline, It didn't subside at all.
I think I should consider an increase to my dosage sonce it's not working well.
I mean like feeling like im in a dream state. Like im there but not there. I hope that makes sense. When i first developed anxiety and panic disorder i became agoraphobic and had depersonalization for a year straight. It was awful. Its by far the feeling i hate the most. More than the panic attacks themselves cause i know those go away. This you never know how long it will last. But i came out if if 6 days after i posted this. Now ive been doing fine.
