40mg - Will I, won't I....?

I have been to the DOc (not my usual one) and said that I felt like I was still not quite feeling right... or how I think I should. She suggested that I try 40mg a day.

I have been doing the computer course that was suggested and apart from being on holiday for the last week I was doing pretty well. I just feel like I need a bit more of a push, so is 40 the way to go??

Mainly just thinking through the whole thing and read other folks posts with interest. Not sure I want to risk feeling sick/tired and all that again if I do goto 40... I have been on 20 since last August, so should I give it a go and see if that is the final step up I need??

Thoughts??

Hi Miss Jojo

I also haven't posted for quite a while. I was only on 20mg for 10 weeks before asking to be upped to 40mg which i have been on for longer than i care to mention.

The first couple of weeks i was muzzy headed but now and in fact since about August last year, feel back to my old self.

I was contemplating weaning myself off the flu (via the doc of course) but with redundancy looming in just under a year, decided to leave things as they are for now - why rock the boat.

I say go for it girl.

Best wishes

Hi seemingly a crunchy nut (or sacn for short)

You don't say what dosage you are on but yes, i would say go back and see the doc and ask for their advice.

I've found that on the whole 40mg works for me but everyone is different.

I work in a large open plan office and as the terms and possible dates of our redundancy are up in the air at the moment, when people start discussing the what if's, my mind, even on 40mg, cannot cope, so i usually just leave the room.

This illness has a habit of biting you on the bum when you least expect it.

I found that counselling helped early on. Have you considered this?

Chin up. It can be a bit of a rollercoaster. I know where you are coming from.

Best wishes.
