I’ve only taken 4 metranidazole so do you think they’d be working yet, felt a bit better this morning but from this afternoon have felt really sick and getting lower back discomfort as well. Feel very uncomfortable especially when standing up. Don’t know whether to take the rest of todays meds or not

However, if you are having nasty side effects, you should phone your doctor for advice and say your are not tolerating the medication. Your doctor may be able to change the antibiotics.
So day 7 and I feel slightly better but still getting intermittent stomach pain and my stomach feels heavy and bruised, stools still very furry and float, been on a bland diet, lots of water, started passing a bit of wind last 2 days as had none b4, been on metranazidole for 3 days now… I’ve always had trouble with my bowels. Had blood test yesterday but never heard back today, which I hope is a good thing. Heavy foods do seem to prompt an immediate visit to the bathroom though
