5 weeks into terbinafine and itchy skin driving me mad

hi been on terbinafine for 5weeks and the last week been having itchy skin and red spots on my upper torso, also headaches and sore throat, anyone else had these symptoms ???? Please help

I started getting itchy 35 days after taking terbinafine.  I thought that maybe I had become allergic to my laundry detergent.  At 40 days I lost all sense of taste and it has still not returned.  I have been without taste for 4 weeks and have lost 10 lbs. I figured out that it was the terbinafine and my doctor confirmed it.  My recommendation is check with your doctor but stop the terbinafine immediately.  This is the worst ordeal I have ever been through.  I have been living on nonfat granola and carbonated water for a month.  Everything that I try to eat, tastes like Elmer's glue laced with metal.

Hi there,sorry to hear you're having problems. I'm no expert but I do suffer from allergies and it sounds like you are allergic to it. You should see your doctor. In the meantime try anti histamine daily. It could help.

I lasted 3 days before it triggered  Bullous Pemphigoid.  That was 4 years ago.
