Ceramic implants have been known to squeak
I wish I could tell you what that was but I too had that every time I would get up from the chair and take that first, also when I would do heel slides, and adjust myself in bed. I would consult with your dr as soon as you can. Better safe than sorry. Wishing you the best and God's healing. Hugs! 🤗🤗
A recent discussion on this type of sound (albeit close early in the recovery process) recounted that surgeon's and PT'S thought this came from tendons sliding against the hip. It seemed to resolve after a while, although some forum members reported it continuing for a while.
It will be interesting to hear if there are other thoughts on this.
If no pain, I would probably let it be, but if pain and or swelling develop, I definitely would see a doc or surgeon - you invested too much sweat and tears in recovery from the thr to have it go south on you.
