Not sure if this is anxiety but i literally have no energy I feel tired when I'm sitting or laying down my vision seems abit weird and it feels like I'm in a dream like things I do I sort of forget I've done them well not forget it's hard to explain. Also have heavy achy legs when I'm laying down and tight chest. And Headaches I'm on citalopram but I did not have them for 4 days I started them again on Tuesday it is now Thursday I'm just worried what all this is also
Anxiety can literally zap your Energy away. Actually I'm feeling like that right now myself. I have been dealing with this for many many years. I had all kinds of testing done which were all normal. It's very frustrating .
it can also affect the vision as it has me also.
All anxiety starts in the brain and as you know the brain controls our entire body including the eyes arms legs and everything else. So when the nervous system is affected by anxiety, it can affect the entire body .
So to slow down or eliminate the symptoms, the goal is to calm down the brain.
The worst thing you can do is react with anxiety when you get symptoms because that will increase the anxiety and symptoms.
When you're having symptoms acknowledge them calmly, and then I basically ignore them after that. What I do is do some slow deep breathing and listen to some audio meditations on YouTube that deal with anxiety. There are many to choose from and I do this a couple times a day .
another thing that helped me was visiting a counselor to get to the bottom of why I have anxiety in the first place. A counselor can help you sort through it all and give you some ideas of how to manage whatever is causing your anxiety.
The dream like feeling you get is also caused by anxiety. Your brain is trying to protect you from the anxiety so it's trying to shut things out that make you anxious. I always recommend following up with your doctor just to get things checked out.
I hope you feel better
In addition, A few years ago I was so exhausted, could not get off the couch, that I went to the doctor. He did a complete blood count that came back normal. Just telling you this so you don't have to worry so much about the tired feeling. Just get checked out with your doctor so that when it comes back OK you'll get some relief
Thanks for the reply yes I had blood test done today. It is horrendous the head pains chest pain fussy head and legs. Just wondering how long it's going to last is trying to zap out of it but I can't I'm sure I could just sleep most the day and night but I don't sleep in the day hope u r ok
Oh and also I seem to be hungry a lot and weak everywhere to be honest
Hang in there aimee! I have experienced all of your symptoms and some odd others. Been to the doc and spoke to health professionals...it is all anxiety. You first have to admit to yourself that it is anxiety and that your anxiety of causing you to have very real symptoms. I get blurred vision, weak/elastic legs, dizzy, headache, back pain, you name it....I have had it.
You say you are hungry often. Pay close attention to your blood sugar levels. Low blood sugar causes blurred vision and exhaustion.
