5th day on paxil at 5mg .

Hi,

Has anyone got panic in there sleep when starting paxil. This is only my 5th day! at a low dose. Im taking clonopin during the day. I take paxil in the morning.

Are these just side effects that will go away. I haven't had a full blown panic attack mostly anxiety prior.

This sounds normal for just starting out, but if you want to make sure that these symptoms are common, speak to your doctor about it. Good luck and take care! x

Thank you. I’m on my ninth day and I think things are a little bit better with my sleep but I still am on 1 mg of clonopin a day. Still having hyperventilation issues due to anxiety. I’m going to stay at 5 mg of Paxil for another week and then see what my doctor wants to do. I don’t know if I’m having any side effects quite honestly. Yet

Yes probably because I’m on a low-dose I’m not getting the side effects right now. Thank you for responding.

Yes, I was on a low dose as well and I didn't really have any side effects. No problem, wishing you well. x

Did it help you? Did you go up in dosage. Just curious I know everyone’s different

No, the low dosage didn't help. I was annoyed with it and just stopped taking it. I didn't have any side effects really, but it wasn't helping.
