Hi guys
haven't logged in for a while-too busy.
Saw my consultant last week.He was more then happy that i returned to work 2 weeks post op and started driving 4 weeks post op.
I am doing everything and more then i could before surgery-i feel like a new woman.
Have been signed off physio as i no longer require it-he certainly put me through my paces but it has been worth it as i can now get get my left leg on my opposite knee when siiting, also i can kneel and sit on the floor and get on all fours and get back up again without pain.
The one thing that i hadn't even thought about before physio was balance and how it is deeply effected by the op so im working on that now.
Good luck all.
Hi Sarah
What type of surgery did you have ?
Anterior or posterior ?
Do you live in uk ?
What type of work do you do ?
Hi Sarah
Sounds like u r doing really well!
Will leave one leg crossed over the other and putting on my sox for now, but at 4 weeks went on to floor from kneeling today, first time, but raised me up after using arms pushing on chair!
I've signed up for Alexandra lessons for balance and posture from week 6.
Warm regards

Hi Mic
What are Alexandra lessons? Balance was something I've had a problem with.
