Hope everyone is well? 

Didnt sleep too well last night, I think I feel more nervous about my 6 week check than I did my op!

i have my little list of questions to ask my consultant that I will bombard him with!

Whoa girl, 6 weeks appointment already !!! amazing ... on being more nervous now than for the op ... I know that feeling - you want to do good and pass with flying colors, right ?  and you will .. 

will you get an xray before you see him?

I am 6 weeks next week but don't get to see my consultant until the 24th. I am just following my nose, not breaking rules and doing what I think I can. I had a test drive yesterday, just down the bottom of the lane and back and it was good.

I had no doubts that you will be fine, Linzi, your progress has been amazing and I am hoping you get your restrictions lifted and you are let out of prison!

I think that's bang on.  I got a clear impression from my consultant on Monday that if you're sensible, then you will know what you can and can't do.... 

'Rules' are things to help you and not do yourself harm.  once you've got your head round these, you will be the best judge of what you can and can't do...

Nice to be driving again, eh?!  My old three-legged dog is very happy - now, we can go on proper walks again!  

(For the last 5+ weeks he has had the choice of a walk round the block in one direction, or in the other.... now we can go elsewhere.... if you walk to his walk, then you've had the walk, so to speak - too much for him!  so I have to drive him to his walk!)

Hope everything goes well. I have mine next week and like you I am hoping all is well and that he will approve me doing a 50 minute flight the following week. Also hope second hip is not too bad.
