my daughter is experiencing nausea a lot especially morning’s. She has been back to the ER twice since surgery. Nothing on her CT scans and bloodwork is clean so no infection. She has a Dr appointment with Gastro Nov 2nd. She’s missing a ton of school and has missed a great deal of work. We are sitting here right now in one of the extreme periods where she just throws up non stop. we have gone to ER twice with this very same thing. I’m trying to home remedy this thing to a halt today. I have a call in for suppositories right now since she just keeps throwing up. This is very frustrating for everyone.
So sorry to read that your daughter is suffering so much. When the gallbladder is removed, rather than having a release of bile whenever something fatty is eaten, the body has to adjust to a constant drip of bile from the liver instead. I am no doctor, but I am just guessing that there could perhaps, be a build up of bile overnight which is irritating her digestive system in some way and causing her to feel sick each morning.
It can take a little time for some people to adjust. Keep pushing the doctors for answers and don’t let them fobb you or your daughter off as this is not normal.
