6days post op after hysterectomy

I am 6 days post op and have no idea when I am meant to start hrt . The nurse spoke to me about it in the hospital but nothing else was said when I left? Is this something that is discussed at my 6 week check up? X

I was given a prescription the day I left the hospital, and was told to take one a day. so I had my surgery on a Tues. went home on a Wed. and started Estradiol 2 mg on Thurs. I'm thinking maybe you should call your Dr.

Thank you for your reply Leah. I have just phoned the hospital and I will start hrt once I have had my 6week check up with the consultant . X

wow I'm suprised that you have to wait 6 weeks, I started the 2 days after my surgery and I feel the same as I did before having the surgery, well except the pain in my left side. good luck
