I had my tkr 8/22/2017 after the stitches were removed my wound opened up. I had a 2nd surgery in 09/17 for debridement n reclose. That didnt work then i had a 3rd surgery surgery nin 10/17 ssme readon. Then surgery 4th surgery in 11/16. Which they realized they should have used. Hypoallergenic suture. That resolved than then in 2/18 i developed 3 abscess so surgery #5. I am still draining. And totally desper a ye
Oh my goodness you have had an awful time! I am so sorry. I pray for your healing. Reach out to someone who will be with you through this hard time.
My problems seem mild, yet still frustrating, by comparison. Each of us has a different reaction it seems. I scare people, including Drs, with the noise my knee makes. Before I do the L I'm seriously looking at stem cell therapy. Dr wants to redo my R to see why it makes so much noise, is swelling and fills with 40-50 cc of fluid every week. Good luck.
