8 months without Sertraline after having it for 8 months

Hello beautiful people! Sending good thoughts and best regards to you. My journey with setraline started last year around mid February when I was diagnosed with panic and Anxiety attack. My sleep disappeared and I was constantly stressing about everything and I thought I will go insane any minute. Then with the help of my doctor who suggested me to take Sertraline 50mg day and night, I slowly started feeling better so maybe that was the right medicine for me. But then around September I slowly started weaning it off with my doc's suggestion and now its been 8 months that I'm completely free from any antidepressants

So in this discussion I will request someone or anyone to write sth if they have stopped using these drugs and have continued with their normal lives, is there anyone like that? And is there any herb or supps u used to make the withdrawal process more easy n if yes then what were they. I was thinking of rhodiola as it's considered to be the best among the other natural herbs. N pls don't post if you've stopped using antidepressants n then started again with them as it will beat the purpose of encouraging those who are thinking or have stopped them for good I hope you lovely people will understand

Lots of love xx

Your post is what I needed. I have been on the drug for four months and want to start coming of but I am afraid. Can you tell me how you came off please.

Hellosmile since 4 months isn't that long u should consult ur concern over this with your doctor. Start tapering it off as that's what I did after the seven month mark of use and then with a nutritious diet and exercise, the latter I couldn't get much of, will help u heaps if you face any withdrawals which everyone faces sadlysadu can ease off the effects with the use of good multivitamins and natural herbs. U can ask your doctor about rhodiola rosea which is a very effective herb for these issues. Keep me posted about your progress on this. U will be fine but just do it according to ur doc's suggestion n don't ever stop cold turkeysmile

Love xx

Thank you, I want to come off it because I feel it has not helped me, and I feel unwell on it. Thanks for the advice
