Hi,
Doubt is killing me.
Is there anyone who didnt have much good days before the 8 weeks mark on an increased dose but have had success later on this medication?
After 8 weeks I still feel awful, 1 had only 1 day this week which was a bit better but not great either. Whats the best I can do? Is it worth it to keep going and suffering or its better to try another med? My doc says I should switch to duloxetine but I really dont like the idea.
Any thoughts?
Thanks very much,
Kind regards,
B.
Hi there. And Yes! I started on 25 for 2 weeks, stayed on 50 for about 3 months, then went to 100. And through it all, including the first couple months on 100, I was still having many low days. It took about 4 months of being on 100 that I really started to feel good. That I woke up one morning and was like, wow. I’ve been feeling good! I’ve been on 100 mg for almost a year. And it gave me my life back. Hang in there. It just take time.
Hi I was on this medication about 18 months ago to be honest I was very very unwell after about 4 months and still no better I saw a psychiatrist who changed my medication to mirtazapeine within a few weeks I started to feel much better and made a complete recovery went back to work after 6 months on the sick and have not looked back I am now on a minimum dose and feel absolutely fine when your in this horrible situation you think you will never ever get better but you will .
Thank you Sandra, I needed that
Am glad you are OK!
