8 weeks...

I've been doing better...then BAM this morning woke up wanting to cry and having intrusive thoughts. Why?!?! Yesterday I did have a pretty stressful day. I had my first ultrasound and praise God everything looked good but I still have that fear that this baby will develop hydrops also.

Hi, Nicole. You didn't say how long you have been on flu. It took me 3 months to finally feel normal. After 2 months, I started noticing slight improvements like I might get a twinge of feeling like I'm getting better. Then, in an hour or even less, it's gone and I'm back to feeling hopeless. Some days no twinge. Up down, up down. Miserable. Finally, I started to have a farely good day and then several bad days. Slowly the good days overtook the bad. So please don't give up. It just takes time and some people get better quicker than others. A lot of praying really helped me. Keep us informed on your progress.

Hi Karen, I'm week 9 on flu and I'm 10 weeks pregnant. I can't tell if the prozac is going to work because my hormones are so up and die and I can't tell if the pills are helping or not sad I also let crazy things bother me for no reason that I have no control over. I just wish this depression/anxiety would leave.

Sorry you're going through this while pregnant. It will help, though it just takes a little time. Yeah, that's how it is with anxiety. It's really hard to control your thoughts and a lot of the time they are very irrational. That's why it's good to have someone to talk to about it, because they can help you to see through some of the fears.
