First outing today, to the polling station. Hubby drove me there and then I walked half way back, only about 100 feet but at least I did it.
Just celebrated with a lovely Dolce Gusto and some rich tea!
Wound check tomorrow, looking forward to seeing my scar, is that strange lol?
Not at all Paula! I couldn't wait to see mine, quite proud of it really.
Well done for the walk. Take it easy now, not too much too soon. Resting as important as exercising.

Hello Paula. Hope you put the cross in the right box and tomorrow some of us will be jumping for joy as well as walking. Well done you I did not have my first outing till day 14 when dressing and stitches removed. Yes was keen to see damage- surprised at the neatness of it. Two days later I took my first tiny walk to a coffee shop
Walk most days with poles still at week 7 today. Check up and X-ray next week

Keep a diary of all the small goals....doesnt matter how tiny. Its good to read back and see how far you've come....Also put any negatives {if there are any} in

Well done Paula. The celebrations we have over these achievements are fantastic aren't they.
I had a look at my plaster in the mirror the day I got home, couldn't wait but had to wait for another few days until the plaster was taken off and then I had another look, in fact I look at on a daily basis, because I think its amazing what they have done. Lol !
