9 weeks post ORIF surgery on Ankle. Foot turning red stiil. Normal?

Hi, Im just wondering whether or not it’s normal for my 9 weeks post ankle surgery foot to get a reddish color when down? I did notice my toes are getting more a normal color, but the rest of my foot is discolored. I have 1 plate 2 screws. Has anyone else experienced this? Any thoughts are welcome.

Totally normal, I am 5 months out and mine still gets like that

Hi karen ya its ok mine the same am 5 months after op screws plate 7 . When foot down and swells up but doc said keep walking on it and rub baby oil on . Hope that helps .

13 Months out. Still turning red. it is new normal.
