Hip x ray came back NAD and GP says I do not have bursitis? I'm trying to fix up a new appointment with him to discuss. So frustrating to have to wait over a week to see a GP plus trying to fit it in with my shifts. Nightmare!
I was close to tears last night, my husband always picks me up from work after a late shift and as I struggled to get in the car because of hips, back pain etc; he said come on hurry up, it's just like picking up a 90 year old. (now he does have a jokey manner and I know he never intended it to upset me) but....deep down he must be thinking 'what the hell?'....I'm thinking 'What the hell?'. I'll keep you updated X
Husbands just want to fix things for us sometimes...I really do feel for them, they do say the wrong thing at the wrong time don't they...but what would we do without them...mine is such a goodun...think I'll keep him..38 years of thought..lol.
Well our wedding vows were, for better or worse in sickness and health...etc..I remind myself of this daily, when I see what he has to put up with and over the years..but I would do the same for him...and he often tells me that..I guess I'm really very blessed...especially when I read how that some husbands just don't get it..be blessed..:-) xx
Oh how I sympathise. I'm not even 60 but I feel like that 90 year old your husband mentioned! My partner rushes off out the door and then turns round and says stuff like 'what have you forgotten now?' or 'come on, we're meant to be going' because I've got to do everything so carefully and slowly otherwise I hurt so much. I do wish pain was visible on our bodies so others could see it!
Hi its good to hear others husbands/partners are alike in saying the wrong things sometimes i also wish people could see our pain they would be amazed at what we put up with it and still smile :-)
