good morning Vanessa ,

I hope you got some sleep and pain relief ... welcome back -

I swear I felt the same way about the 2nd THR (left) - so much more painful ---

Surgeon told me that I probably had "forgotten" the pain post-op 1st THR -

maybe he is right ... it subsided though -

he also told me that I was not to compare  these 2 surgeries - but of course you will - I was in a bad shape prior 2nd THR and almost euphoric after ... that pain (you know which one) was gone - okay, pain from surgery and scar (felt scar more too) was there but manageable -

today will be interesting - PT will have you get out of bed ... well, you know the drill -

Be very, extra gentle with your self darling ----

all is well and come back here anytime okay - there is a whole army out here to support you

big warm hug

renee

Ask for as much pain relief as they can give you. It is only for a short time. I think it is a bit like child birth!  Once you see the great results the pain memory fades. Sending special Fairy Dust your way. Each day will be better. 💫✨X

Remember you do not to be in pain.  Ask for pain meds until you're no longer in pain.

Personally, I found the pain control management excellent and barr one small hiccup when there was a bit of confusion about whether or not I was going home. As soon as it was possible the blip was rectified.

Remember (and I hope this won't come across as being pompouse) there are no points to be had in putting up with pain, it is self-defeating as it can retard your progress.

Good luck

hi Vanessa,

checking in with you. .Hopefully your pain is managed and you feel a bit better

thinking of you and sending healing reiki rays

Pompouse - huh - of course I meant pompous - no idea where the extra 'e' came from.

I love pompouse, sounds lovely and delicious

Mmmm - a bit chocolatey too - what do you think?
