A bit worried, someone please help :/

Hello,

Hopefully someone is able to help me.

I had unprocted sex, for perhaps 3 minutes, if that. Not that that may make a difference. 7 weeks later I came up in blisters on my inner thigh, then labia following some days later. I went to the clinic to have them swabbed but the blister on inner thigh had dried, and blisters on the labia at this point had only broken skin ( red skin ) but not yet blistered, but the doctor stated that it was okay as the culture isn't only built from the fluid but also the shedding of the skin cells. A few days after that sore was swabbed it did infact blister and crust.

The results came back negative.

1 week later a pimple appeared in the same area, this time not a blister and it also came back negative as I had it swabbed.

6 weeks after first breakout, I have noticed this...Could this be herpes or not? I have been under the worse emotional stress and I honestly need some kind of understanding.

I understand a blood test will give me some relief so I guess I must wait for some time before that is conducted. As of now, all doctors has stated that it must of been due to sweat as it was a terribly hot day and was perhaps a blistered rash. Can you have a blistered rash that isn't herpes ?

I didn't experience any pain, which I know could still be possible with herpes. It's just I guess they didn't resemble the common symptoms I have seen and my doctor also expressed this. The nurse at urgent care also suggested that it may have been chaffing. I had also been using tea tre shower gel which was very potent ans also spray that area with deodrant...stupid of me.

Is this current sore a herpes sore, or can I just put that I have herpes to bed?

SOMEONE HELP!

If more than one swab came back negative and all the clinic staff are telling you it's not herpes, I would go with that, and if you're still concerned, follow up at 3+ months with the IgG antibody test. The spot in the photo is very generic. Could be anything.

Hello,

Thank you for your response. Just been so worried as blistering is just never something as a woman I have experienced down there. However, with the given conditions, I understand it could of been something other than herpes. Also, I have been intimate with someone that hasn't had any breakouts or symptoms in the last 7 weeks, and doctors stated that if virus was in it's active stage, my partner would of been infected within two weeks.

It's just the blistering that has worried me.

The spot could be anything, that I know. I recently removed the hair so it could be due to that also. Just feeling ever so worried.

Not sure what they mean about your partner. Symptoms or recent infection aren't necessary to transmit. However, everything else currently points to negative, so I would take comfort in that.
